4 - Western beaches, Barra da Tijuca, Legep and H. Stern Museum
A ride along the beaches of Ipanema, Leblon, São Conrado, Barra da Tijuca , Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Prainha , Grumari and Guaratiba. A stop for a refreshing drink - coconut water at the Prainha beach, one of the most attractive and secluded beaches in Rio de Janeiro.
Legep - A very large store that has an extraordinary collection of rough crystals and semiprecious stones.
Lunch at the Churrascaria Barra Grill (Barra da Tijuca) - Excellent barbecues
Museum H. Stern - Exhibition of rough precious stones, the world largest collection of tourmalines, and prize-winning jewels. During the tour it is possible to watch the cutting and making of jewels.

5 - Hang-gliding at Pedra Bonita Rock in São Conrado
Feels so serene. The view is fantastic.
Think about skimming meters above a remote mountain top in the company of a wedge tailed eagle, climbing under a cloud until you are so cold your fingers start to freeze, soaring high and cool over Rio de Janeiro beaches packed with hot and sweaty sunbathers. (Almost everyone can do hang-gliding without any previous experience! Flying a hang-glider is easy fun).
Tour includes:
» A car that will pick you up at the hotel and drive you to São Conrado Beach
» Meet the instructor and drive up to Pedra Bonita Mountain
» Instructions at the hand-gliding ramp.
» Take off from the mountain and fly for around 20 minutes over the forest.
